Message to Families

Dear Brentwood Families,

It has been another busy week of learning at our school!

Many thanks to Parent Council and our wonderful volunteers for once again organizing Pumpkinella. Our students enjoyed seeing the many pumpkins and decorations on display.

Please review the following important reminders for the weeks ahead.

Remembrance Day Assemblies — November 9

Our Remembrance Day assemblies will take place on Monday, November 9, and will be led by our Grade 6 team.

Due to the size of our school and the limited capacity of our main gym, we will hold two separate assemblies.

Please note: Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate parents and guardians at these assemblies due to space limitations.

Diwali Celebration — November 10

Students celebrating Diwali are welcome and encouraged to wear cultural clothing on Tuesday, November 10, in place of their regular school uniform.

Throughout the school year, we will continue to provide opportunities for students to wear cultural clothing in recognition of other celebrations and traditions.

CBE Fall Break — November 11–13

There will be no school for students from Wednesday, November 11, through Friday, November 13, for CBE Fall Break.

Classes will resume on Monday, November 16.

Parent-Teacher Conferences — November 26–27

Our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on:

• Thursday, November 26
• Friday, November 27

The conference booking system will open on Monday, November 16.

Additional information about scheduling and booking appointments will be shared with families closer to the date.
