Registration at Calgary Board of Education (CBE) schools is not determined on a first come, first served basis. Registration and admission to schools in CBE is governed by the Education Act and Administrative Regulation 6090 | Child and Student Registration and Admission.

Welcome to Brentwood School! We are excited to begin this learning journey with you and your child. To help you prepare for the upcoming school year, we would like to provide you with important information regarding our Kindergarten Friday schedule.
Friday Schedule
Our Kindergarten classes attend Fridays according to a rotating schedule:

Fridays are early dismissal days to allow for teacher professional learning in the afternoon. Our Friday early dismissal is at 1:18 PM.
The Mon/ Wed group will attend 17 Fridays, and the Tues/Thurs group will attend 14 Fridays. This difference accounts for holidays and professional development days. However, both groups receive the same number of instructional hours during the year.
