Dear Brentwood Families:

It has a been wonderful and busy week of learning at our school! 

Here are some reminders and updates as we look ahead:

• ‘Meet the Teacher' School Conferences are scheduled for Monday, September 29 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.  This is an opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher and visit their classroom.  Conference times are shared with other families and may be booked through MyCBE beginning on Wednesday, September 17 at 4 pm. Once logged in, click the ‘Book and Manage Meeting Times’ icon.  If you require assistance creating a MyCBE account, please visit Create Account Help.
• Should your child have a health concern, i.e. asthma, of which the school should be aware, please ensure you have completed the Student Health Plan and provided it to our office.  
• If you child has a significant health concern, including a life threatening allergy, please also complete the Student Health Emergency Response Protocol on an annual basis.
• School Absences:  Please remember to call the attendance line to let us know of your child’s absence – 403 777 6130 ext. 1.  This is essential as we complete daily attendance. Also, a gentle reminder to keep your students home if they are not feeling well.  If you are picking up your child early from school, please notify both your child’s teacher and the office no later than 12 noon on that day, and no later than 10 am on Fridays.  This provides us with enough time to ensure we have updated our attendance and bus lists, and have your child ready for pick-up. Thank you!
• To take advantage of the pleasant fall weather, many of our classes plan walking field trips during September and October.  Teachers will provide you with advance notice if your child is participating in a walking field trip.  General information about these activities is also included in the following letter.  Brentwood Walking Trips Annual Letter 2025-2026
