Dear Brentwood Families:

It was wonderful to reconnect with students last week and welcome our community back to our school.   As we settle in, I am reminded of the strong relationships and deep sense of belonging that make the TLC program at Brentwood such a welcoming environment for students to learn.

Here are some reminders and updates for the week ahead:

• We are observing a classroom-based Remembrance Day ceremony on the morning of Friday, November 7.  The ceremony will be led by our office, involve some student presentations, and include a variety of classroom activities.  Students are welcome to bring a donation to the Royal Canadian Legion poppy fund on Friday.
• If your child will be absent or late to school, please remember to inform our school office by phone or email.  Please also include teachers in this communication.  As we enter the winter season, a reminder to also please keep your child at home if they are feeling unwell or have obvious symptoms of cold or flu.
• Our school photo day has been rescheduled to Monday, November 17 (all students) and Tuesday, November 18 (Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten only).
