Dear Brentwood Families

On behalf of our staff, a heartfelt thank-you to our dedicated and hard-working parent volunteers for organizing such a successful school carnival on Friday evening.  It was wonderful to see so many families in attendance to support parent council’s signature fundraising event.   

Special thanks to Chanel and Saima, for their leadership, organization of the carnival, and ongoing support of our entire school.  We appreciate you!

Here are a few reminders and updates for a busy week ahead:

Visual Arts Residency

Grade 1-3 students start their visual arts residency with Sharon Fortowsky on Monday and in addition our Grade 3 students begin a weeklong place-based residency with Yellow Steps Education. 

Grade 6 Outdoor School

Grade 6 outdoor school at River’s Edge occurs on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with a break on Wednesday, May 28 for the English Language Arts & Literature Part A (written) provincial achievement test. 

Volunteer Tea

Brentwood’s Volunteer Tea has been rescheduled for Friday, June 13.  Please see the attached invitation.  We welcome and encourage our many volunteers to attend so that we may say a big thank you for their support.  Please RSVP by using the QR Code in the invitation or by emailing:  brentwoodvolunteertea@gmail.com  We look forward to seeing you there.
