Here are some important reminders and updates for the week ahead:
Term 1 report cards will be available in MyCBE on Monday, January 27. Please take the time to review this information with your child and print a copy for your records if needed, as our office does not print report cards. Our next school conferences will occur on March 20 & 21.
We have a number of field trips this week for our grade 1 & 6 classes. Please refer to the information from your child’s teacher for more information.
From our School Council: Happy New Year everyone! We hope everyone had a wonderful Winter Break and have gotten back to their routines since we are heading into the last bit of January.

Our next meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, January 28 at 7:00 PM held virtually via Zoom. This is a great opportunity to stay informed and hear about any school updates, school and council budgets, and to ask any questions you may have for our School Principal, Mr. Stein.

Many of our families will be celebrating Lunar New Year this week. Students of those families are welcome to wear cultural clothing on Wednesday, January 29 to recognize the Year of the Snake. Students who are not in cultural clothing should attend in their regular uniform.
Grade 3-5 students have begun recorder lessons in their music classes. If your child needs their own recorder, you may purchase this through your MyCBE account under ‘optional fees’. The cost of a recorder is $7 and will be provided to students by Ms. Lau once ordered.
Friday, January 31 is a non-instruction day and there is no school for CBE students.
