Dear Brentwood Families:

Here are a few reminders and updates for the week ahead:

Cold Weather Continues! 

Please ensure your child travels to and from school with warm winter clothing, including a hat and gloves.  School begins at 9:08 am each morning, and we open our doors at 8:50 am every day to provide a warm and welcoming environment for students.  Please do not drop-off your child before this time as we do not have supervision available.  When temperatures are below -20 degrees Celsius, including the wind chill, we have indoors recesses and lunch.  However, students still need to be well-dressed for their transition times to and from home. 

Transportation Delays

During cold weather and accompanying poor road conditions, our yellow buses are sometimes late.  Please be prepared for these possible delays, and check the MyBusStop app for the most accurate information available. 

Teachers' Convention & Family Day

Thursday, February 13 and Friday, February 14 are Teachers’ Convention and there is no school for students.  Monday, February 17 is the Family Day holiday.

Kindergarten Concert

Looking ahead, we are excited to host our Kindergarten concert on Thursday, February 27 at 2 pm.  Please see the attached letter for details.  Should you have questions about this event, please contact your child’s teacher.  Kindergarten Concert Parent Letter
