Here are some reminders and updates for the next two weeks:

1. There is no school for students during Teachers’ Convention (February 12-13) and on the Family Day Holiday (Monday, February 16).
2. Parents are encouraged to provide our school with feedback on our School Development Plan (SDP) and school fees.  If you have not done so already, please consider reviewing the attached information and complete this brief survey:  Brentwood SDP & Fees Feedback 2025-2026 – Fill out form
3. A reminder to parents to please support traffic safety at our school. Do not use our bus zone or staff parking lots for drop-off and pick-up.  Please also use the designated crosswalk to cross the street on Northmount Drive.  Drop-off and pick-up are busy times on the roads around Brentwood, and we want to ensure a safe experience for everyone.
4. Looking ahead, we have multiple field trips and events during the last week of February:

• • Grade 1 field trips to Inglewood Bird Sanctuary on February 23, 25 or 26.  Your child’s teacher has sent home details about the date for their activity
  • Grade 4-6 field trip to Theatre Calgary on Wednesday, February 25 to see a performance of The Tale of the Gifted Prince.  Information has also been sent home
  • Pink Shirt Day is also on Wednesday, February 25.  Students are welcome to wear a pink shirt as avisible symbol of support for kindness, inclusion, and respect for others.
  • A Kindergarten concert at Brentwood on Thursday, February 26
