Dear Brentwood Families:

Here are some December reminders and updates:

1.     We have a very busy week of programming ahead.  Highlights include:

• Grade 1 Concert on Thursday, December 11 at 2:30 pm
• Earth Rangers Assembly for grades 1-3 on Tuesday, December 9
• Picture Retakes on Wednesday, December 10
• Grade 2 Science Presentation (in-school) on December 8, 10 or 11

Grade 3  Field Trips to Telus Spark on December 10 or 11

2.     Registration for the 2026-2027 school year begins on January 12.  We are hosting an Open House for the Traditional Learning Centre (TLC) program on Thursday, January 15 from 6:30 – 7:45 pm.  Please see the attached invitation for details.  Brentwood will continue to follow the lottery process for registration.  Details may be found here:  https://cbe.ab.ca/registration/registration/lottery/Pages/default.aspx

3.     More than 650 Brentwood students ride our 13 yellow buses each day.  Parent support and reminders of expected bus behaviour help ensure a safe and enjoyable ride for everyone.  If there is a concern about behaviour on the bus, please ensure the driver is aware of the situation.  The bus driver is best able to address concerns on their route.  School administration is also available to support bus drivers if they cannot resolve concerns on their own.  Thank you for your support.
