Dear Brentwood Families:
The countdown to Winter Break is on, and we’re adding a little extra cheer to the last week of school! Here are a few updates:
From Monday to Friday, students can join in themed days with a festive twist. Here’s what’s planned:
- Monday – Merry & Bright Day
Wear bright, cheerful colors like red, green, gold, or silver to spread holiday joy! - Tuesday – Wacky Hair & Holiday Hat Day
Get creative with holiday hats (Santa, elf, reindeer antlers, winter beanies, earmuffs) or fun hairstyles—think tinsel, bows, or snowflakes! - Wednesday – What Makes You Feel Best Day
Dress in something that makes you happy: your favorite sweater, cozy socks, or a beloved outfit. - Thursday – Pajama Day (Cozy Winter Wear)
Come comfy in pajamas, fuzzy socks, and maybe bring a small stuffed animal for extra coziness. - Friday – Celebrate Your Culture Day
Wear traditional cultural attire to showcase and celebrate the diversity in our school community!
We can’t wait to see all the creativity and holiday spirit. If students wish not to participate, they are welcome to continue to wear their regular TLC uniforms.
Grade 5 students will be visiting the Leighton Centre on Wednesday, December 17 or Thursday, December 18. Information about this field trip has been sent home with your child.
Friday, December 19 is the last day of school. We have organized a Brentwood Connect activity on this day. All students will be placed into a multi-aged group for the morning with an opportunity to work with a new teacher and peer group. Students will be engaging in a fun activity that builds belonging and connection across our learning community. Thanks to our parent council who is also providing hot chocolate and a treat on this day.
