We are also hosting our grade 6 farewell on Wednesday, June 25. Please see below for details. As a large school with a small gym, our physical space can be challenging. As such, please plan to stand for our short farewell program. We will only have a limited number of seats available in the gym so that all families may be accommodated.
To celebrate the successes of our grade 6 students and wish them well for their future endeavours, we have planned two events on Wednesday, June 25:
Refreshments at Brentwood School (main gym)
- 11:00 am – 11:45 am
- Parents are welcome to attend
- Short program | cake & beverages | photo opportunities
- Brentwood TLC keepsake for each student
- Students may wear smart casual attire, no grad/prom style dresses please
Visit to West Confederation Park (2020 Chicoutimi Dr. N.W.)
- 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm
- 1.7 km walk in each direction, weather-dependent
- Spray park and/or green space
- Students using the spray park must bring a swimsuit and towel. There is a change room at the park
- Students using the green space may bring their own sports equipment (i.e. ball, Frisbee)
There is no cost associated with grade 6 farewell. Thank you to our school council fundraising society for providing the cost of refreshments at the school and popsicles at the park.
If you are interested in volunteering for the visit to West Confederation Park, and are cleared as a volunteer with CBE, please contact your child’s teacher.
